This full-time distance learning M.A. allows you to investigate the vast function of the internet in a world where the internet has become part of its critical infrastructure. The Master’s programme will help you analyse the importance of the internet and to understand how it has strategic relevance in the governing of nation states. From cyberwar to diplomacy to business, the Master’s in Contemporary Diplomacy will train you to work in the most prominent diplomatic arena of the coming decades. Focusing on practical diplomatic skills and delivered through a 10-day residential workshop in Malta, you will then be given the opportunity to write at length about internet governance and related topics of your choosing.
